Call for site specific Installations for the festival Kopanice bez Hranice, which will be held on 22/07/2023 (Saturday) in the campus of traditional house and Museum of Vrbovce Village in Slovakia which is situated at the Czech – Slovak borders.

Topic of the Exhibition is the comfort zone with the focus on opening of the enclosed social bubbles. The interiors and exteriors of the Festival area will be transformed by art installations and interventions that communicate the theme of opening doors to the different opinions. The site specific exhibition intends to encourage the curiosity of the visitors of the Festival to look beyond their boundaries of perception and experience artistic freedom and enjoy the view from different perspectives. Exhibition will offer an opportunity to experience contemporary art in its authentic village environment.

The call is open to professional artists.

 

Artists are provided with:

 

-A fee of 200 EUR to cover costs associated with installation and transport

- Technical support and refreshments during installation and during the festival

​

- Photo/video documentation and promotion in the media and on social networks

Artists are expected to:

Flexibility in the implementation of the installation

- Presentation of the work during the guided for festival visitors
